About the Artist
"I work out of my home studio, where I paint in acrylics, mixed media, oils and watercolor, it depends on the subject matter and how patient I am feeling. I love getting out in nature where I can plein air paint or at least take photos for work in the studio.
Since moving to Austin, I have had more time to concentrate on painting in the studio. The Hill Country and surrounding areas intrigue me and that is the direction of my art now.
Memberships include Austin Visual Art Society, Creative Art Society and Capitol Art Society. I created and curated the Art Gallery at the Old Bakery and Emporium, on Congress Avenue across from the Capitol, for many years.”
