Our Artists
Capitol Art Society is the oldest active visual arts group in Austin, Texas. It is a juried organization of forty-five professional artists formed in 1965 to promote our members' artwork through group exhibitions and to further art appreciation in Austin. Represented are all two-dimensional media. Many of our members are published and in collections worldwide as well as award winners, art teachers and art demonstrators.
